STANDARDS

The Piercing Shop has earned itself and excellent reputation over the years for upholding the strictest hygiene standards. We are constantly upgrading our facilities and procedures to ensure the highest standards are achieved.

Some recent improvements include:

• We have been spending more time and money than ever into the further education of our staff members and the improvement of our sterilisation area.
• We have recently had automatic sensor taps installed in all four of our piercing rooms to further minimise the chance of cross-contamination as we don't have to touch the taps to turn them on.
• We have also set up a system that allows us to track every sterilised package that is used on every individual in our rooms. This is to guarantee our customers absolute safety as we are able to ensure that every package has been autoclaved properly.
• A file is kept on every customer that has a piercing, check up, or change recording which instruments were used, what date they were packaged and confirming that each instrument has been sterilised correctly.
• Our staff keep up with the latest information and technology on sterilisation by attending a year long certificate course designed specifically for those who work with sterilisers in the medical and related professions.
